| When Haiti was devastated with a magnitude 7.7
earthquake, leading to the deaths of nearly 1/4 million people, Crescendo
participated in a project with four other choirs, from California, from New
York, and from Uganda, to produce a performance video to raise contributions and
consciousness. Lacking a children's choir of our own, we drew
on Chorus Angelicus in Torrington, on the Falls Village Children's Theatre in
nearby Falls Village, on church and school choirs throughout our area, and, with
the assistance of members of Crescendo's own Chorus, constituted a children's
choir. You can see videos of the finished product, as well as two videos
