| While Crescendo does not have a performance
organization specifically for young people (our friends at Chorus Angelicus in
Torrington provide that in our area), we welcome high school age singers with an interest in
advancing both their ability and their exposure to participate as members of the
Crescendo Chorus in our major projects.
Limited scholarship aid is available. Recently, in response to the earthquake in
Haiti, Crescendo drew upon Chorus Angelicus, the Falls Village Children's
Theatre, and many church choirs in the area to constitute a young people's group
to sing for Haiti relief. More information about this project is available

In addition, Crescendo occasionally provides
instructional material in our local schools, and during our celebration of the
Landowska anniversary, sponsored
and organized a concert of young keyboard players from the larger geographic
area. |
