Performers learn while rehearsing and performing.  Audiences benefit from our pre-concert talks and our informative concert programs, as well as our rarely-performed repertory.  But Crescendo also offers two additional formats for learning:  seminars, and workshops/master classes.

But for the rest of us, those of us who simply want to understand the music we hear (yes, and perform) better, Crescendo is pleased to offer seminars.  In fact, Crescendo's very first public activities, way back in 2003, were a series of lectures on such topics as "A brief history of vocal music" and "The oratorio and cantata in the Baroque era".
